Prices are lower than what you would expect from designer shops, but not too expensive. Also there's a store in London!

Muji is good place
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/29/04
I found Muji to be the Japanese equivalent to Ikea. It offers everything for the home at semi-cheap prices (for Japan!). We bought a bed, bedroom furniture, drapes, and various other items there and found them to be of good quality and somewhat stylish. There is one just steps from the Futako-Tamagawa station on the Den-en-toshi line. Check it out. There is a great little Italian restaurant next door too.
