This is a place I tend to frequent when I am in Tokyo. I enjoy the whole vibe of this place. The food is Great but it is definitely on the on the pricier side for food. If you want a Great dinning experience, give it a try. Don't expect a steak like your traditional steaks here in America. They have a traditional way they prep and serve it. Take in the experience.

Old, overpriced, overrated
By Brian D, 10/28/07
There was a time in Japan when you were happy to be able to eat steak at a restuarant near Roppongi. The reality is that there are much better places for less money hence the poor rating.

Hama is top steak house
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/15/05
This place is truly among the top steak houses in Tokyo, where they take celebrities and diplomats when they're in town. The review that bashes this place is flat out wrong.

oily and expensive
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/30/05
Beef is too oily. Service is superficial. Price is extremely expensive. The way of cooking is also unappropriate. I always prefer steak on fire like bbq, not on hot plate which is Hama style, and which leave much oil with the beef.
I'll never return to this place.
