It has the most beautiful garden in Japan. While we took a slow and lovely walk in its glorious cherry blossom filled garden, we felt the ageless spirits of Japan's benevolent gods surrounding us. One might allow at least one hour for this garden in a visit to Kyoto. Even though it was crowded, every person was quiet and mannerly, respecting the awesome beauty and serenity of this gorgeous treasure.

I just got back from Kyoto and this was suggested to see the cherry blossoms. The garden at the Heian was beautiful! There was a sense of peace and serenity. It's what you invision when you think of old Japan.

It's a must see when visiting japan! Especially during spring when the cherry blossoms are in bloom. The Garden is so wonderfully breathtaking that you would want to spend the whole day there. It's one of those places you never get tired of seeing and that's why i intend to go back there every chance i get.

This place just screams amazing. I am referring to the garden that wraps around the shrine. I think I could spend a whole day here, but I had to force myself to leave. You could take tens of photos here, and every single one would look unique. But only a trip to this shrine's garden can allow you to truly appreciate what is here.

We literally spent hours wandering the garden here. Beautiful photographic opportunities. Going during cherry blossom season is good, but you will fight the crowds. Any season except winter and you will see beautiful colours.

It is a place you want to live at.
Does not matter when or where you go
just go and have a great time.
