I visited the WFC in February 2005. The directors were very friendly and set me up in a room without a reservation after I called them from the train station. They also arranged a meeting with a hibakusha (survivor of the a-bombing) and a tour of the museum and the peace park. I would recommend the WFC as a place to stay to anyone, but especially to those who want a unique opportunity to meet survivors of the bombing.
