We joined the Captain Sailer cruise and for 38RMB, it's an absolute steal. During the one hour cruise the ship hugs the Pudong side heading up to Yangpu bridge and then on the Puxi side on the way back so you can see both sides in detail. Old but clean ship with snacks on board with an inside and outside deck area.

Cheap tickets by Western Standards. Best time to be on the cruise is at Dusk. One could view all the river front anf the view of the Oriental Pearl TV tower from the river is fantastic, in my opinion. Again lots of phot opportunities. Do not miss a photo of the tower when the boat nears the middle of two of the domes on either side of thetower. The cruise last about an hour and a half. Well worth it.
