horrible experience.better starve than eating the kind of food served.will you believe they charge eq 20 us dollar for half Lt local mineral water.disgusting.i will definitely not recommend to anyone.

Below average food, highly priced and would not recommend this to anyone else. The only good thing about this restaurant is the decor, but if you want to go for that then there are other better places to see in Shanghai.

And another thing, is they do not server water, if you ask for it, they will charge you for mineral water and you will not belive the price.

I don't mind paying for 5 stars, but only if I get 5 star food. Tandoor is a 5 star place with 2 star food. What a shame, it could be soooo much better.

Expensive beyond imagination. Prices charged are too high as compared to what one get in return. I visited the restaurant with three friends and ended up in paying equivalent to USD 800 only for food.

the decor in tandoor is world class. the ceiling is awesome, never seen anything like it. the dancing entertainment gives the restaurant a unique feel.
the choice of dishes available are very good. being from the uk we like our chicken to be chicken breast which was not available, however, the lamb vindaloo was exceptional.

The food was delicious and on par in price with comparable restaurants in Shanghai. The decor of the place definitely makes it an interesting place to dine. I was not disappointed by the experience and would definitely eat there again.

THE ONE AND ONLY RESTAURANT I HAVE FOUND MOUTH WATERY DISHES.EVEN YOU EAT BELLY FUL YOU WOULD LIKE TO EAT SOME MORE.THE SERVICE IS EXCELLENT.SOME SAY IT IS SLIGHT COSTLY BUT I SAY IT IS WORTH FOR THE YUMMY DISHES.

An OK place with reasonable food but now definitely secondary after the opening of first "Ashoka" and then "Vedas". Both of these are much better in terms of food, ambience and service.
