The Food was not good at all. It was really bad service. I would have rather jumped off a bridge than eat at that place. Yuck!

I am a chinese student studying at UCSD.I used to live in Beijing and still go back there often imn my opinion, if you speak chinese a bit. do not go here. restrautns like these are generally for tourists and the food served is not REAL chinese food. it tastes similair to Panda Inn food (a high class version of panda express) if you want REAL ...

For the stupid tourist
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/30/05
Afunti does have beautiful women and tasty food, but you can find prettier food and tastier women elsewhere..... and not at a tourist price. Try other Xinjiang restaurants for a more authentic feel. If you wanna go to a tourist restaurant, there's a few TGI Fridays restaurants about.

Same show every time
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/13/05
It is OK to go one time, but next times are boring. Always same routine with the same show, and waitresses rushing people to get up to dance on the table. Better get people drunk otherwise atmophere is stiff. If you like to eat lot of meat - you may like the food. Not very spicy. I personally prefer spicy chinece or indian.

A fun place especially when you go with a group, colleagues, etc. Excellent food, fun and entertainment. The variety of show elements and the dance on the table afterwards. And not to forget the excellent food. JUST wonderful!

Afunti - Sure Beats Sitting In A Hotel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/20/07
Afunti makes for an interesting night out if you are visiting Beijing. Combining some passable food with a lively floorshow can be just the thing to perk up a business trip if you've been otherwise stuck in hotels and meeting rooms all week. The place is irrefutably a tourist trap with a capital 'T', but hey.... you should know what ...

Huate (=Chineese for Wouter)
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/19/04
The food is superb, completely different from what is served in the rest of China. The show is great. Afterwards dancing on the table with a belly-danceres will make me remember this evening for ever.
