Brilliant

This place is fantastic. We had a great time getting up close to the animals. It's not everyday you get to play with Lion cubs and feed a Giraffe.
The place is very clean with friendly staff and good facilities.

A MUST when visiting South Africa

The Lion Park is a great place to take your family. We had a picnic there and enjoyed it. Area is clean and animals well kept.

Loved lion park... got to photo petting the 2 cubs... little naughty biters...but loved it. Went many times, taking ones out, they loved it too. never got tired of watching them. nh

I THINK IT IS SHAMEFULL THAT THE PLAYING WITH CUBS IS PERMITTED. WHERE ARE THE CUBS MOTHERS AND WHY WERE THEY TAKEN FROM THEIR MOTHERS? WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO THESE CUBS ONCE THEY GROW TO BIG FOR HUMAS TO INTERACT WITH? DO YOU HONSTLY BELIEVE THAT THOSE CUBS GET ANY ENJOYMENT OUT OF BEING PAWED BY PEOPLE ALL DAY EVERYDAY

The lion cubs made it for us!!!

The set up is amazing for a start... You wind your way through a few large enclosures admiring the awesome prides of lions relaxing under the hot African skies, ending up at an oasis of a place where you can be refreshed with an ice cold beer or some cold-drinks and snacks for the kids... Then for the most highlighting experience of all... A few ...

It is a must see if you are in the Joburg area.

We love petting the lion cubs and the giraffes. The entrance price is reasonable. Make sure to visit in the morning when it is cooler and the animals are more awake.

A Wonderful Experience !

On the whole, the experience was well worth the effort and money. Being so close to these animals was a privilage.
In the caged area with cubs, I wasn't aware that one cannot touch the head of the cubs without an aggressive response! It would be helpful to inform every guest, prior to entering this area.
Otherwise, it was exciting to be able to stroke the 4 month old cubs.

Fantastic opportunity to hold and feed lion cubs - a wonderful experience. All staff very helpful and extremely knowledgable - don't rush you - can take your time with holding them and taking pictures. Found I learned a lot about these animals - thank you!

One of my kids favorite memories

Everything was enjoyable at the park, We liked the drive and seeing the Ostriches and the other wildlife there and then entering the lion park area ws wonderful to see the lions.

The gift shop and area to pet the lion cub was great for the little ones and to take pictures on your stautes by the doorways.

We lived there from 1995 -1997 and my children still remember the lion park as one of there favorite memories of South Africa.
