After living in the UK for some years now, I am increasingly missing my Saturday morining shopping at Eastgate. Eastgate definatley has more trendier people and shops, and a very viberant upmarket atmosphere. Reasonable prices, good restaurants (try the Spur)and at least 10 different movies showing at the cinemas.Think I am moving back to SA.

Definately an experience!! It epitomises Joburgs abundance of shopping. It almost all important and major South African shops. However for those who aren't familiar with Eastgate it can be a bit confusing, as passages lead off in every direction. Worth visiting... abundance of parking
