Standing on top of table mountain, you can see all of Cape town and out into the ocean. On a especially clear day you can see for miles around in all directions. It is a singular experience to be on top of Table Mountain and watch a cloud back sweep out off the ocean, across table mountain while you are standing there and back out over the ocean. Just a quick cable car ride up the mountain!

When I first arrived in Cape Town, i thought i was in for an experience typical of all the things you see about African cities on the TV and in movies. My daughter & I climbed it ! go early in the morning, drive past the cable car entrance, free parking at the trail head, you can't miss it! can be cool,as wind passes over the top, so check forecast! Even if it was hot the day before! take a wind breaker!! have a picnic on lions head!

Going to the top of Table Mountain is a must-do when visiting South Africa. Bring your camera and get ready for tons of photo opportunities.

It was worth waiting 25 years for!!! Two dreams came true in the same place!
It was absolutely breathtaking and out of this world....a truely magical place.

I absolutly loved the trip up to the top of table mountain, in the cable-car it is one of the best experiences i have ever had in my life! And when you get to the top you truly understand how Beautiful nature can be.
In Cape Town the view is Phenomenal, the people are friendly, the houses and buildings are all part of this incredible real life art ...

cape town is the beautiful place that i never been before..i very like table mountain and cape points..this 02 place gives me a lot of sweet memories..i will be waiting for year 2010 to come again for world cup...yeah....

Visited my son who was attending film school and found that the people in the market places, fleas markets, stores, restaurants and all the public places like the aquarium, were super friendly and helpful. Their smiling faces made me feel really welcomed and I really miss them as well as the great weather, fine dining and the terrific sight from on top of Table Mountain. It is the best part of South Africa and thank you all for a fantastic time.
