Standing on top of table mountain, you can see all of Cape town and out into the ocean. On a especially clear day you can see for miles around in all directions. It is a singular experience to be on top of Table Mountain and watch a cloud back sweep out off the ocean, across table mountain while you are standing there and back out over the ocean. Just a quick cable car ride up the mountain!

My daughter & I climbed it ! go early in the morning, drive past the cable car entrance, free parking at the trail head, you can't miss it! can be cool,as wind passes over the top, so check forecast! Even if it was hot the day before! take a wind breaker!! have a picnic on lions head!

Visited my son who was attending film school and found that the people in the market places, fleas markets, stores, restaurants and all the public places like the aquarium, were super friendly and helpful. Their smiling faces made me feel really welcomed and I really miss them as well as the great weather, fine dining and the terrific sight from on top of Table Mountain. It is the best part of South Africa and thank you all for a fantastic time.

Cape Town is splendid

Its like being on top of the world.... breathtaking views, i had the clear day one minute and the table cloth the next, a fantastic trip.... so much so that i've booked up again, 1 year to the day that i last went..........

THe time I've spent in South Afirca was well worth the 18 hour flight from Pittsburgh. The sites and atmosphere are fantastic, blending clutures and breath taking scenary. The shopping and night life in Capetown rival any European city and the dining is some of the best I've had in the world. I look forward to my next trip to S.A.

There is tranquility; enjoyed nature and I could view Cape Town and the sea from the mountain top. The view is wonderful.

I don't like the winds which can be very strong at times and also when its very cloudy because one cannot have access to the mountain.
