It was OK.Unless you are into Military history, I would spend your time doing other things in Cairo. Now, at the Citadel, there is two Mosques which are a must see and a spectacular view of Cairo. A real disapointmentPlace is a beautiful setting however there was very little Egyptian military history - there was however a lot of British!!
The museum artifacts were scarce and most things relating to Egyptian history were in picture/painting form.
It was very funny to see old UK Fire Engines in such an ancient setting!
My husband - who is Egyptian, was even disinterested.
