IF YOU ARE INTO EGYPTOLOGY LIKE I AM DO NOT GO FOR A QUICK VISIT,IT IS JUST FASCINATING HOW YOU SEE ARTIFACTS FROM ALL DIFFERENT DYNASTIES IN ONE AWESOME PLACE THAT IS THIS MUSEUM, JUST GOT BACK FROM THERE FOR NY SECOND VISIT AND I THINK I WILL NEVER GET TTIRED OF VISITING IT. ENJOY A FULL DAY THERE..... PLEASE.

We loved the things to see and do there, i really enjoyed my visit. During our stay in egypt we saw many museums but this was the best.

A buzzing yet personal place, this is a must. It's got so many treasures, you'll need a whole day to investigate, to give you an idea I spent 3 hrs alone on the top floor and about 2 again on the bottom, i recommend also getting a quick tour and pay the extra to visit the mummy rooms, they're interesting.

The place is gorged with amazing objects but most artefacts are not titled,dated or described. I rented an electronic audio guide but it was a total waste of money. Rare are the objects registered and the explanations are 1 to 4 sentences long and state obvious facts. The displayed cardboards are more fleshed out. Tour guides are available but most ...

Wow what a site.Take plenty of pictures outside.Very nice outside.Get there two hours after it opens.Place is crowded when it first opens.Now this place has no A/C inside.Very dusty and the place is falling apart.This place needs to be completely renovated.Enjoy yourself and take your time walking around.

I really enjoyed the museum as I enjoy learning about historical events. The King Tut exhibit was great and there is so much stuff from the Pharaoh's periods. I am glad I got to see all the history of Egypt when I was in Cairo in 1990.

When you walk into the museum you will feel like you entering the time gate, and you are going back to the time where this people lived and deamed . It is crazy and scary and beautiful at the same time

WHAT A WONDERFUL VACATION WE HAD AND WHAT A DEAL. ALOT OF BANG FOR YOUR BUCK AND SO MUCH TO SEE AND DO. MAKE SURE YOU PLAN ENOUGH TIME FOR IT ALL.

DISAPPOINTED TO SEE SO MUCH OF HISTORY LYING UNACCOUNTED, UNLABELED & GATHERING DUST. MAJORITY OF THE EXHIBITS HAVE NO LABELS. WHATEVER HAVE THE LABELS, IT IS SO DIFFICULT TO LEAN FORWARD CLOSE TO THE GROUND OR USE A MAGNIFYING GLASS TO READ THEM. AS USUAL TOUTS/GUIDES ARE A NUISANCE LIKE ALL OVER EGYPT. THE MUSEUM HAS NO AIR-CONDITIONING, SO DON'T FORGET TO TAKE WATER WITH YOU TO BEAT THE HEAT.
NOT GOING AGAIN FOR SURE.
