Well I just visited Cairo tower and to obtain a ticket was an adventure because I don't know why the kiosk was very well hidden. I paid for a ticket to watch Cairo with the telescope but what a surprise; there was only one telescope and it was covered with black leather so that people can't use it

I was surprised at the cost to go up in the tower. It was about $12 which did include a fruit drink or soda and a piece of cake, which you paid $2 extra. There is a resturant that rotates. They turned it on for us. The view is wonderful. The tower is under repair, it is pretty run down, which seems to be the way in Cairo. Well worth the price.

The Cairo Tower is one of the few spots in Cairo you can get up high and have a great view. Its also a lot cooler at the top because of the wind and its island location, making it a great escape from summer weather. I suggest going about an hour before sunset, staking out a good spot, and watching the sunset. Keep an eye out for the pyramids of Giza on the horizon too.

cairo tower is wonderful. it gives the city a more modern, high class look.

It was very well constructed with amazing service.You should check it out. It isn't very expensive either.It is pretty tall to. In egypt there are also many other attractions you shoukld check out.

the place is great and the view is awesome.. but the picture on this page is not cairo tower !! someone should correct this plz.

I liked the tower and the view at night; however i recomend a sweater its very windy and cold up there. Now for a forigner paying its about 42 egyptian pounds for forigener and 1 pound for egyptian (6 times more than the resident is a little much).

this place was cool and the picture is from on top of the tower and not at the tower itself it is an awsome veiw at sunset but it can get pretty cold up there so take a sweater or something like that

Its soooo Breathtaking and I can't wait to go back there!
It had a nice view from the top and I almost felt as I was falling off
