The restaurant is downtown within walking distance of many hotels. The waiters speak Spanish and english among other languages. They offer typical Egyptian food that you cannot find in other restaurants. You can pick and choose between cheap and expensive dishes .

Looked better than it was
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/20/07
Bumping into it by accident, as Felfel is the egyptan word for my boyfriends nick name Pepper but inside we were very disappointed about unpersonal service -if at all- busy ambiance and the food. Fun to go there once, but no more for me

A Tourist Trap
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/09/06
I have been to Felelah several times. The food is mediocre and the ambiance is good for first time tourists. If you are lookign for good Egyptian food, this is not it.It is kid friendly and tourist companies use it frequently.

visit to restaurant
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/17/06
Staff are great with children, although once they have served you and you have paid you leave and they never say good bye. I love the food and go every year when I visit Cairo.

Many meals in felfela
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/14/06
I lived in the Le Meridian Hotel, next to Felfela for two years and spent many a wonderful night in Felfelas, the food is great, the service could be better, but then again it is Egypt. Try the "meat in paper" and the chicken livers with suace. The guys there are friendly and the general feeling is excellent. Baba Ganu & Humis are excellent starters. I'll return soon.
