  • I MISS THE ARABESQUE!!!

    WE LIVED IN MA'ADI, EGYPT FROM 1979 UNTIL 1989. WHEN WE EXPAT LADIES WENT "TO TOWN" WE ALWAYS WENT TO THE ARABESQUE FOR LUNCH. THE MOST MEMORABLE THING ABOUT ITS MENU WAS THE DESSERT "OM ALI." IT WAS EXQUISITE!!!!! NO RESTAURANT COULD GET CLOSE TO THEIR RECIPE. I CAN TASTE IT NOW.... YUMMY....
