I could recommend many other things to do, other than go to the zoo in Lima. If you have smaill children, then they might appreciate, but in that case I recommend taking them to the Circuito Park of the Magic Fountains.

this zoo is big. plan on spending at least three hours. there is an archeological exhibit in the middle of the zoo that is fascinating. there are a lot of falcons on display. they are in the process of cleaning the zoo up and it is getting a lot of attention. the cost of admission is more than worth it. we went in september 2007 and will go again when we return to peru in 2009.

Different animals, you can even see a condor!!! very close! Pumas, I really like the area of jungle cause is divided into coast, andes and jungle all if them really nioce, so you can spend a all day in there, sometimes theres even shows of music

This place was awesome!!! If you're going to Lima stop here!! It was the best day of my vacation!!! Everyone there was nice and helpful to a dumb traveler like me!!! This place was fun and a great learning experience.

Well I was born in Peru so I used to go to Parque de las leyendas when I was a child. It is a zoo, it's a nice place, very big and u can find a lot of things to do also, there's games, restaurants, etc. I reccomend it :)
