It's a great place! Loved everything about it. I went to Embassy Hotel, the biggest hotel and the only one who leads onto the river . I got a room with an amazing view, just next to the river, the problem was when I wanted to sleep LOL.

There is definitely nothing negative to say about this place. It's value and charm fit the mold for a perfect weekend. Where else can you go for a getaway for just a few bucks! Try a little whitewater rafting and sample some pisco and wine. I was able to go for just a day with family and friends. We hit a restaurant or two, went rafting, ...

Great little paradise just a short distance from the city of Lima. There are several places you can stay the night varying in accomodations and budget. These folks have found a balance between making a living out of their locally grown grapes for the Pisco production and tourism.

Lunahuana is a great place to spend a weekend away from the city. The weather in December is just perfect if you don't like extreme temperatures. I went to a place that sells the best "chupe de camarones" (a creamy soup with shrimp) and visited a lovely wine cellar. Oh, and everything there is really affordable!!

The air was so clean and pure.
Canete's River is so clean and transparent. I'll said their rapids were from 4 to 5. They even have shrimp traps along the river. In my opinion,Lunahuana is Paradise!

I would love to go back to Lunahuana. I had a loveley time. Every thing is nice, food, wheter, people, etc,etc overthere. You MUST go!!!!!!!!!!They are the winners of the PISCO, you have to try and I am sure you want to go back.
