Excellent (and interesting) summary of Ecuador's HistoryI've lived in Quito for the past 4 months, and have done quite a bit of site seeing during my time here. I consider el Museo del Banco Central to be one of the best opportunities to examine the historical aspect of Ecuador, and is a definite site that should be seen.

Best museum in Ecuador!One of the best archeological museums in Ecuador. Very nicely presented stuff from the beginning of life till the today.
