The whole church is made out of gold, it is breathtaking the amount of detail and craftmanship. It was two dollars to get in, but worth it. You are not allowed to take pictures, but that is the same in most places. I would recommend a tour or a guide because they are locals and they usually know extra facts that you would not usually learn just going in on your own. Certainly a must see on your Quito trip!!
