    The museo guayasamin is a very nice collection of the pieces owned and produced by Oswaldo Guayasamin. The pieces displayed range from portraits to larger canvases portraying human suffuring. The mood in the museo is very sombering, but the pieces are emotion inspiring. It was very interesting to see the work of the artist over the years and how he ...

  • An amazing display of the work of Guayasamin

    The museum is a bit out of the way in Quito, but worth the trek out to the suburbs. There are hundreds of works of Guayasamin beautifully displayed. The staff give free tours of the art-work with very detailed descriptions of each piece (in spanish, very limited english)
