I travel to Chile every year and every year i head to "Azul profundo" in the bohemian quarter of Santiago called bellavista. Not anymore!

The fish was overcooked and not fresh. Very pricey considering what we got. Coming from Portland, OR where we get great fresh fish, this was a big disappointment. The best deal was a 2 for 1 wine special. They gave you a free bottle of the same wine you ordered with dinner to take home with you.

If this is supposed to be one of the best restaurants in Santiago, then either the reviews are being written by the owners, or diners have left their judgement at home. By any standards the food is ordinary and the service is slapdash, verging on the rude. Azul Profundo is a very busy and noisy venue that does reasonable fish. But then so do fish ...

This place is one of the bests in Santiago, try a sea food with pasta on a cheese sause; or a combination o four griled fishes

Amazing food, courtious and attentive staff. It was my favorite place to eat in Santiago. Every dish was superb. I would recommend this place to anyone traveling to Santiago
