BeautifulNot a lot of people know the meaning of Corcovado, the word that means " Heart where are you going" comes from Latin. With the arms wide open the Christ is blessing not only Rio de Janeiro, but also its residents and tourist that travels from all around the globe to have this unique experience. ViewBeatifull view to the whole city, and what a city. Suggest taking the eletric train to the top of the moutain and sitting at the right hand side to take photos (mostly after the train's first stop). A "must see"This is where Christ the Redeemer is located. The view of Rio from the top is unbelievable. Please do not attempt to walk to the top; most people aren't prepared for the winding- steep road and find themselves passing out or trying to hitch a ride to the top. Drive to itThere is a train that goes up to the mountain, and that is a pretty cool ride. I do, however, recomend that you rent a car or get a cab and drive all the way. One of two places you can't miss in Rio!Corcovado's view is just breathtaking! You can see the entire city of Rio de Janeiro from the top of Corcovado, get excellent pictures of the Sugar Loaf mountains, and get a really cool picture of the Christ that sits on top.
