You see this beautiful statue from virtually the whole city. It's cool to see "His" view of the city as well.

Not a lot of people know the meaning of Corcovado, the word that means " Heart where are you going" comes from Latin. With the arms wide open the Christ is blessing not only Rio de Janeiro, but also its residents and tourist that travels from all around the globe to have this unique experience. I just loved to be there. It was a unique experience to me.

Beatifull view to the whole city, and what a city. Suggest taking the eletric train to the top of the moutain and sitting at the right hand side to take photos (mostly after the train's first stop). Only get off once you get at the top of the moutain, it

Liked the train ride up, liked the view. This statue is to Brazil as the Statue of Liberty is to the US...they are the two defining public monuments in the Western Hemisphere. You should see both in your lifetime

The most amazing view in the world!!! You have to go there! Just have to!!!

There is a train that goes up to the mountain, and that is a pretty cool ride. I do, however, recomend that you rent a car or get a cab and drive all the way. There are some very nice stops on the way, the view as you go up to the mountain is simply Fantastic! Well worth the time.

If you go to Rio, you MUST go to Corcovado. The view is breathtaking, and the atmosphere is great. Rio de Janeiro is set on such an interesting landscape that going up to Corcovado gives you a perspective of the city that you would otherwise miss. It's just a great place and like 'icing on the cake' for any trip to Rio. I recommend ...

I would recommend anybody who goes to Rio.We can see all city up there.This city in my opinion is the most beautiful in the world.
