I liked the incredible vista from this location, as well as the overwhelming size and majesty of the statue. Great palce to visit for people of any religion, not necessary to be Christian to enjoy this -- it really is impressive apart from being a statue of Christ. Worth the visit just for the view! Goof for all ages, and not overly time consuming.

the streets smell of blocked up drains it was awful not somewhere i would like to take my kids again i advise people NOT to go its a waste of ALOT of money!

The Corcovado is more than a statue. It's amazing! You can see it from most places in Rio. The views change by location and time of day. The ride up to the statue is a unadvertised treat. Plants, flowers and a peaceful ride through the edge of the rainforest. Views of Rio from the top that are unforgetable. This is a "must do" of any trip to Rio

Very moving experience, so beautiful and the fact that it overlooks EVERYTHING is amazing. If you visit Rio, it is a must see. If you go during winter there, it will be very cold once you get to the top so make sure you dress accordingly.

Everyone knows it on sight, but the thrill is in actually getting up there. It is one of the most magical places I've ever seen! To me, Pao de Acucar(a.k.a "sugar loaf") Should've been considerate one of these wonders!

It was sweet to see the huge statue up close.
Its neat to walk through the city and see the statue high up on the mountain. I would definetly go see it if you go.
