I loved everything about it. There was nothing about it to dislike!! I definatly cant wait to go back and eat alot more japanes food.

Madame Butterfly is located on a nice street three or four blocks from the beach in Ipanema. Tables in this converted house are packed very closely together. Service is excellent. The food consists of genuine Japanese dishes as well as Japanese-Brazilian hybrids. I ordered shabu-shabu, my favorite dish, and willingly paid for a two-person portion. The quality of the beef -- crucial to this repast -- was outstanding.
