This opera house is very memorable!! Fabulous acoustics, gorgeous art, a national treasure! We loved it so much we are going to return for the grand re-opening in May 2008 for the return of "Aida" which was presented at the original opening in 1908!
Everything is just so fasinating and gorgeous. I enjoyed it 'coz I love to travel!!!I think summer there is the best time to visit because it is winter over here.

Make an effort to take in an event. I saw their Philharmonic Symphony - stunning, beautiful, worth my money and time. I would go to another concert if I were to visit again.
Went to a opera. (Lombardi of the first crusade by Verdi) Buying tickets was easy. Staff was bi-lingual. Also take the tour. they have spanish/english tours. Very informative. Inside was awsome. Heard from our Argie friends that there is some renovation going on in the inside. so might want to check first before going.

Very few buildings can describe a great city like the Teatro Colón can do. I travelled around the world and I should say I never expected to find something so wonderful, so magic, so far away. Whenever you go to B.A. city do not forget to visit one of the greatest theatre in the world. Till that day, your journey won't be fulfill. Cheers,
