Good Place to Start a Hike - Not Much Else ThereI was a bit disappointed when I reached the top. There wasn't much there and the cafe was very croweded. I did discover a hiking trail that covered the area that the original settlers crossed when they settled Christchurch. It was a nice hike but nothing spectacular.OVERALL

We returned yet again!!We visited from the UK in 2000 and enjoyed our Gondola experience very much. We found it thrilling and exhilarating, so much so in fact that we returned again this year - 2007!!
The views are just as spectacular and the experience just as exciting!! The Time Tunnel Experience was educational and very cleverly worked out.

Worth a visit!Spectacular View - great walking tracks! Enjoyed the Time Tunnel experience, helps you to learn about the history of Banks Peninsula and Christchurch.
