I,m from Holland Amsterdam and for the very first time I went to NZ, for a holliday and to meet some familly. I like the beach , the people and the restaurant on the beach, I fell in love with Sumner and I know I will return over and over and....etc.

I always try to get to Sumner beach at least once each visit to NZ.
I introduced my mother to the place, and she always wants to go for a walk on the beach every time she visits. Of course the ice cream stand helps. ;-)
Restaurant right on the beach is great, even if you get mobbed by the seagulls.

We stayed at a Beautiful B&B right on the beach opposite Cave Rock. The views from the breakfast area were spectacular. I love it coz the beach is amazing, the surf is wicked, the people are lovely, the ice cream and views are totally fabulous, SO GO THERE!!!!!
