    We as 2 Xena fans did visit Bethells Beach, and it is realy amazing. We did see the cave of " Calisto's Return" and many many other "sets".

    We stayed with Trudy and John Bethell, from the Bethells Cottages, and John drove us around to show us the other "sets" that are closed for public. He was Lucy's "private" driver for almost 2 years.

  • Essential Pilgrimage for Xena fans!

    Any fans of the TV show Xena: Warrior Princess MUST visit Bethells on a trip to New Zealand! Its a 40 mins or so drive from the city, and the drive down is quite hair raising, with lots of tight turns and narrow roads. The beach itself is just beautful, but Xena fans, make sure you stop just after the small cridge to walk along the stream and the ...
