This is where I live
By Sabrina, 04/05/06
Just 600 metres to the beach from where we live. I walk my dog to Bondi Beach everyday. Bondi has a number of cafes and restaurants which look out over the beach and makes a great place to stay and visit. Campbell Parade is the ocean road where the majority of the cafes and shops can be found. There is also a lively and busy atmosphere along ...

Good beach...
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/21/07
Pretty good place. It's fun and full of good looking people. The water is a bit cold, but the beach is nice and the environment is great. Go get a smootie from "Sejuiced" to cool off. I wonder if Australia just might have other beaches that are better...I've heard rumors.

A great place to see and be seen by the sea!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/03/07
Cafe culture meets beach culture. Bars. Restaurants. Lots of tourists in summer!
Bondi Beach is also a great place to rollerblade, skateboard and bmx because of its skatepark!
Hire some skates and go rollerblading along the promenade!

Bouncing Bondi
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/09/05
The water at Bondi Beach is like a bathtub. It's best to go early in the morning, before it becomes mobbed and covered with trash. And if you're the least bit prudish, you'd better be prepared for girls swimming topless. Sunsets over Bondi are breathtaking.

Bondi is the City Beach
By hashen, 05/22/05
Bondi Beach is a fantastic site to see. Surfers, celebs and many toursits pack the beach on weekends and during the summer break (dec-march). The crowds can get thick with people and backpackers because of its location near downtown it's highly trafficked. If you want a more relaxed beach, head north to DeeWhy or Manly. If you want a smaller beach, head south along the cliff walk to Tamarama or Bronte Beach

Beautiful Bondi
By darkeyes1955, 06/07/05
Bondi Beach is a fun and beautiful place to stay. Lot's of night life, etc, but the beach was the big draw for me. My sons had fun watching the life savers (life guards) go through their drills, and I have to admit, they are pretty impressive.

Bondi Rocks!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/22/05
I spent four glorious months in Sydney and spent about five days a week at this fantastic beach. Bondi (pronounced bond-eye, btw) is home to beautiful people, crystal blue water, and great food. Seriously--check out the food. Start your day off with a Bondi breakfast, chill on the beach for a few hours, head back up to the street for a lunch (I ...
