A favouriteI love going to Taronga Zoo. It is friendly and easy to navigate. I would definitely recommend going! It is definitely worth the money but I wouldn't buy any souveneirs or anything. Go for a whole day and explore all the sections and shows - you won't regret it!OVERALL

will have to visit again with friendsExcellent arrangement to entertain and take rest in between visiting animals, adequate arrangement for food and visitors.
Liked the sky safari, its wonderful.
The best time to vicit would be beautiful sunny day with temperature of 20-24.
Family with little kids will really enjoy the area as a day of outing.

nice but overrated and way overpricedIt's a nice Zoo - especially if you have kids.
The ferry and cable car also makes it very spectacular.
However 44AUD is a little expensive. Keep this in mind before you go.OVERALL

Good day outWe were interested to see the native species as we were only in Oz for 17 days. We were not disapointed. We travelled on the ferry from Circular Quay with a combined ticket that included transfer to the zoo. Felt a bit sorry for the non native large mammals - Bears, Big Cats, Apes etc. An excellent day out. Recommended.OVERALLAtmosphereValue

World Class ExperienceDuring the school holiday, April 2005, we four hopped over the ditch from NZ whilst on a uni sabbatical from the US. The day we enjoyed the Taronga Zoo, was the day also of various modes of transportation: car to train station, train to Circular Quay, ferry to Zoo, sky tram to top of zoo, feet to bottom of zoo to execute return!!

zoo funThis zoo was very cool, loved going on the ferry over to the island the zoo is on. We bought the package deal for the ferry, the zoo, and the sky tram at the ferry terminal and it was worth it. Fun animal shows, lots to see. My only complaint was that it closes too early, it should stay open longer especially in summer. Just have to get there early I guess.1 of 1 Yahoo! Taronga Zoo Spectaculari love taronga zoo it is honestly the best place on earth it is a great learning place for students but yet it is fun aswell it is the type of place the makes getting an education fun.
it also has an amazing variety of animals i have never seen such animals in one place before it is absolutley amazing i recomend that everyone should go to the zoo atleast once in their lifes as it will be an experience that you will never forgetOVERALLAtmosphereValue
