It's a nice Zoo - especially if you have kids.
The ferry and cable car also makes it very spectacular.
However 44AUD is a little expensive. Keep this in mind before you go.

Great place to visit- a must-see in Sydney!!!!

It was great being able to get close to the koalas and the giraffes. We were actually able to feed carrots to the giraffes. The boat and tram ride to get there from the harbour were excellent.

I think it would be somewhere nice to go when you want to be in peace. I love to be alone at times and write and I think this would be a great place to write a book.

i did not like the litter near food places
i like seals and other animals it was hard to find all the anials i there cages

I like because I love animals very much. For people to give endangered speicies a home really touches my heart. Iwould love to tell everybody I know about this wonderful place.

I went with a friend recently and in the last couple of years they have done a lot of work to spruce up the zoo. There are quite a few new enclosures and several still under construction. The elephants haven't arrived from Asia yet, so that was a bummer. What's a zoo without elephants? But everything else was in place. Entry and food is expensive, though.

I loved the Taronga Zoo. But be prepared for lots of walking....uphill! It is, however, well worth the effort, and its not really all that bad. I made the mistake of going later in the afternoon, when I was already tired from a full-day of sightseeing in and around Sydney. Be sure and go early in the day when you have more energy, are ...
