We were interested to see the native species as we were only in Oz for 17 days. We were not disapointed. We travelled on the ferry from Circular Quay with a combined ticket that included transfer to the zoo. Felt a bit sorry for the non native large mammals - Bears, Big Cats, Apes etc. An excellent day out. Recommended.

The Taronga Zoo, in Sydeny, Australia is a very umique and interesting place. I highly recommend seeing the Taronga Zoo if you are taking a family vacation. It is rating #2 in the most fascinating attraction in Sydney, Australia.

I know it is only temporary but lack of parking and having 4 zoo memberships still having to pay to pay to park.I have had memberships for 5 years I think I and other zoo friends should NOT have pay to park.

This Zoo is striking, the Landscape is wonderful and the animals are wonderful with one of the largest varieties I have seen. I especially enjoyed the Koala's. It is a must see.

I loved it, and I loved the animals. Australian animals are VERY friendly! The recreation of the rainforest was breathtaking when I was there in 1989. I'm sure it's even more so now!
