If you want an up-close experience with animals like the wombat, kangaroo, or koala, go here! It's so worth the cost, drive, and experience. Bring sunscreen, hand fan for the flies or bug repellant . . . it's all outdoors. There are playgrounds for the kids and places to eat and rest. Great park!!

i love this place because it has a great range of animals and is a very very enjoyable day out. it would be a great choise of a day with your family. the kowalars are my fave.

My wife and I happened upon Caversham by accident while we were living in Perth for a year. We were touring Whiteman Park when we stumbled upon this gem. What a wonderful time we had. the look on my kids and wifes face when they were feeding the kangaroos, and strokeing the koala bears confirmd to me that it was money well spent. that wouldnt get this chance in the uk
