A wonderful relaxing place where you enter another world away from stress and struggle.
beautiful scenery, and walks. Tremendous history of Western Australia. A good example of what people with a bit of 'get up and go', namely the European settlers, could do to an untamed wilderness.

Rottnest Island is a beautiful tropical escape form Perth. Being only a 45 minute trip away it is perfect for a day visit or to stay overnight.

The beaches are beautigul and the island is perfect for exploring, swimming, snorkelling, cycling and walking to enjoy the scenory and plentiful wildlife, especially Quokkas!

Rottnest Island was excellent and would recommend it to anybody that would like to visit. We decided to visit the Island for a day trip. We hired a bike and rode around the Island all day. The weather was perfect. Would definitely revisit.

Rotto is such a blast- the water is gorgeous, the best snorkeling and scuba diving... Fun bars and great restaurants

Took entire family, in-laws too. Great week for all age groups 68 to 6years. Truly the place to say no worries. The fishing ,the walking, the little units, stayed in Jackson. So it cost money, everything does. We are returning to Perth again this year but won't get a trip this time to Rottie. But a marvellous place to see in my minds eye ...

Loved the atmosphere..was a beautiful sunny (and hot) day, felt great to take a dip in the ocean, took a boat ride off the island to go snorkel, then a tour of the island to feed and admire the quokkas..unbelievable!!! A must do if you have the time

I loved visiting Rottnest. Practically all of the day spent there was fab. The only downside was all the seagulls scavanging for food at the restaurant by the dock. Apart from that - brilliant!!

we liked the fact that there was no cars on the road. we also loved the snorkeling and diving on the island it was magic. the pelicans where also very beautiful and so were the quokas. we did find it a bit expensive though.
