Rottnest Island was excellent and would recommend it to anybody that would like to visit. We decided to visit the Island for a day trip. We hired a bike and rode around the Island all day. The weather was perfect. Would definitely revisit.

beautiful scenery, and walks. Tremendous history of Western Australia. A good example of what people with a bit of 'get up and go', namely the European settlers, could do to an untamed wilderness.

I went to Rottnest in the late autumn with my Perth girlfriend. We had a fantastic time as the weather was great and as it was late in the season the island almost felt deserted. Rottnest Island is a beautiful tropical escape form Perth. Being only a 45 minute trip away it is perfect for a day visit or to stay overnight.

The beaches are beautigul and the island is perfect for exploring, swimming, snorkelling, cycling and walking to enjoy the scenory and plentiful wildlife, especially Quokkas!

It was great! The sun, the surf and the sand was great. The tearooms were excellant and the Quokka's really cool!
