I have been away for over 10 years, and this place just gets better, the food is great, the service is great, and it has the best selection of food to eat.
The Alf's Special is my personal favorite, and still tastes the same as 10 years ago!

us boarders at guildford grammar even sneek out at midnight just to get alfies. nothing like a midnight snack.
The variety of people there is huge- families tourists and schoolboys

that atmosphere is great, everone sitting out round the fire, just chilling and eating a great meal. the prices are great and the service is just what you want from a place like alfreds, friendly and down to the point. try the bacon and cheese burger, best thing ever
