I visited with my spouse & 2 other couples from Singapore during winter 2004. Honestly, we would have enjoyed more if not for the gloomy-grey-gusty cooling winter. Wow, Thats really all i can say brethtaking views, gorgeous area and the service of the volunteers (yep thats right not one of them is getting paid) who run puffing billy. Fantastic Definetely would reccomend this!

The engines were fine but the ride was short and not worth it

The most impressive thing was the ride through the forest and the "parrot restaurant" stop. Loved Sassafraz and the shops but would rather have walked in the forest. You need to be a strong railway enthusiast
