DisgustingI hate this place so much i will never go there again!! the atmosphere in disgusting and it has an awful smell to it.

Awful in the name of awfulit was awful with awful exhibits and the tour guide was drunk and he was awful and the wall of rememberance was awful cos it wasnt clean and i think it is a disgrace to our veterans who threw themselves in front of us cowardly fools awful awful stuff the war memorial is something to last a lifetime you have made me want to forget itYou did not find this review helpful.1 of 9 Yahoo! The best!!!This has to be one of the finest museums in the world .... it is full of interesting exhibitions and has a great sense of place. The mood is set when you walk in the front door and see the boat that took some of the Australian troops ashore in the pre-dawn light on 25 April 1915 at Anzac Cove, Gallipoli.You did not find this review helpful.10 of 12 Yahoo! Surprisingly TouchingThe Australian War Memorial was really informative and I found it a calm, serene place to be. A serious look at our historyI have now visited the memorial several times. Apart from the large number of visitors which cannot be helped, it is extremely well set out. You can look for family members on the great wall of rememberance.
