Having stayed opposite the Garden many times I can recommend it as a must visit location.
Situated alongside the Brisbane river, it can also be accessed by the Goodwill footbridge from the South Bank Parklands.

Walking through the garden was fantastic and unless you looked back you wouldn't even know you were right in the city. Lots of interesting sites with places to rest and eat. It was fantastic.

I live very close to the park and use it as part of my daily walk. I am planing on using it for my wedding ceremony next year. The grounds are simply stunning.
