Adelaide Zoo is a great Zoo it has fantastic gardens a great place to have a picnic.
The entry price is a bit expensive for the size of the zoo and they could do with a few more animals. And like a lot of zoo's if the temperature is above 35 degrees celsius they keep the animals in their night enclosures.

My kids love Adelaide Zoo. The petting zoo with farm animals is great, cos they get to feed the animals. There's a little Australiana section you can wander thru, where animals run past. The new lion enclosure is excellent. Watching the sea lions or hippos getting fed is fun. The cafe is a little pricey, so pack a lunch, and just find a picnic spot - plenty to choose from.
