it is extremely expensive, as always. i took four of my five kids, it was $30 just to get in and park. its $50 for 55 tickets and the rides are anywhere from 2 to 4 tickets each. the food prices are outrageous as well. add in the obnoxious "game runners" screaming at you every 2 feet and you have any parents nightmare. Except for the high cost of the rides, and the music on the rides hurting our ears, the carnival was nice. My son always likes to see how fast he can throw a baseball every year. That's why we go.

I have come from PA to the fair for the past few years. I have enjoyed Southern hospitality every visit. The most difficult part was getting information regarding performers as early as I would have liked to.

I go to the fair every year! Even when I lived in AL I would come back home just for the fair. Im pregnant this year but I will be there for all the great food. I love the funnel cakes and chicken on a stick. I cant wait. I used to ride EVERYTHING! Atleast there are a few things I can still ride...I hope!

I LIKE GOING TO THE FAIR BECAUSE TO GET ON THE RIDES ANND THE WONDERFUL FOOD.MY FAVORITE FOOD IS CHICKEN ON A STICK AND PHILLY CHEESE STEAK. I go to the Mississippi State Fair every year, and it never lets me down! Candied apples, elephant ears, petting booths, bands, and rides of all kinds! Don't get on the Exstasy unless you have a stomach like a tank, I warn you! Definately worth going to again this year!
