  • EMP RULES IN ALL SORTS OF WAYS
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/19/04
The emp is one of the reasons I always go back to Seattle I have many friends there, but whenever I get bored it's a place to go to release and relax. You can go to the space needle, the amusement park, or go across the street to the coolest skate park...well worth the trip...

  • i loved it
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/24/05
I've visited the EMP twice and loved it both times. If you're a musician it's a great place to jam, goof off with the various equipment and even make a CD if you want. The guitar section was informative and has guitars dating back to when they were first invented. I enjoyed all the old rocknrollers clothing (Elvis was a little fellow, ...

  • Awesome
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/24/05
EMP is a music lovers dream. All of the memorabilia and the opportunity to play several instruments makes this a very fun way to spend a day. You can learn about the roots of Northwest Rock-and-Roll, or watch a documentary on Hendrix. Even the building is amazing. A highly recommended place for anyone visiting Seattle.

  • Let's Make it more fun!
    By Kane, 09/04/05
To have more fun with it, Start at the Eastlake Shopping Center. Ride the Monorail (when it is not on fire). There you go right through the museum to the Seattle center. Just a hop skip and a jump and you are there!

The museum is always revolving with their exhibits, so keep an eye out on the internet or in the papers. While there try to ...

This is a must experience for music fans. One can spend many hours wondering through all of the music memorabilia. They also have lots of things for kids to do as well. GO!

  • The Mullet Band
    By Rikki, 09/17/05
I took my daughter there with 2 friends for her 13th birthday present. They had a blast jamming at the On Stage. I like the hands-on experience with all the different musical things. Very much a museum with interaction completely in mind! We will definitely be making a trip back!

  • Better than the Rock Hall
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/26/05
The EMP is very interactive, and has great local artist representation. We loved the audio tour and exhibits where you could play instruments, mix, and get 'behind the scenes' info. We hope to get back some day!
