It is kind of expensive but it is a awsome place. There are kinds of exhibits from musical instruments to clothes from famous musicians. There are even instruments that you can play which my kids loved. They even have places for you to record your own music. The thing I loved the most was the handwritten words to one of Tupac's songs.

A "Must " for anyone visiting Seattle
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/27/06
I loved the interactive exhibits - the ability to listen to my own headset and dance around the place. There was not enough time in one day to experience all the great things about the Project. I can't wait to come back - Next time I will bring my 11 year old son who is more of a rocker than I am.

Are You Experienced????
By Chenheart, 07/10/06
!What an incredible museum! I visited the museum TWICE in a week, and spent approximately 5 hours exploring each time! The section with the clothing from artists ranging from Patsy Cline, Jimi Hendrix, to Biggie Smalls and Kurt Cobain was beyond interesting, to say the least. I listened to and read everything! The many versions of "Louie, ...
There is simply not enough here to check out. Not for anyone younger than 16 either to hold their interest. I think this might be wothwhile at 25% of the current ticket price.

Absolutely worth it

If you are into a music experience this is it. We especially liked the history of the guitar. The Hendrix exhibit was very interesting. Plan to spend some time in the EMP. Hands on instruments was a topper. Just really enjoyed the whole "EMP" experience. Ofcourse the building itself was quite a site.

Not worth the time or money....
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/20/06
EMP was the biggest waste of time and money of our whole Seattle trip. The building exterior is very interesting, but that is about the best aspect of the whole visit. We will never go back......
