We discovered Chism by accident by looking at green areas on the map :-) It turns out it's a gem. Verdant, sheltered, it has a playground and small beach for kids, and deeper water with a dock to swim out to and jump off. Plenty of shady grass for picnics. Lifeguards in summer. Since we found this we have got many of our friends hooked on it. ...

I pretty much grew up at Chism. Its just really beautiful and it has so much to offer, the swimming experience is great, you can go fishing there, there is a playground, trails, picnic tables, and more. It is amazing.
