I was travel to Seattle on business from Florida. I enjoyed the Seattle waterfront and took a one hour boat cruise. This is a must do in Seattle.

A wonderful experience

Our second trip to this lovely area of the country and will not be our last. The walks around the waterfront are nice just a little to busy for us. Still a great time, lots to see, great weather. Beautiful, green, and floral areas. Bring $$$ as this area is a little on the pricey side but well worth the visit.

Great experience

The Seattle Waterfront is really pretty and clean. I went there in the morning and took a ferry ride to Bainbridge Island. It was just around $5 or so for the whole ride. It is the best way to look at Seattle skyline and waterfront from ferry deck.

First stop on our trip
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/27/07
We always make the waterfront our 1st stop (after we have checked into our hotel). We drop our bags and RUN for the waterfront and to have our 1st meal at Ivars. Sometimes we eat in the formal restaurant and sometimes the fastfood version. Depends on the time of day. Watching the seagulls and the Ferrys arrive and depart while we eat is fun. ...

Romantic

One of the more enduring images that I have about the Seattle Waterfront before my visit there is Kenny G playing his saxophone at one of the piers against the spectacular Seattle skyline at dusk. Absolutely romantic! For a city literally surrounded by water, a world-class waterfront is imperative to add romance to the city. I just loved walking ...

Wonderful Ocean View

My husband and I had visited Seattle a few times already and took in the harbour cruise and the underground tour. Great value and educational about the city. Later we enjoyed the fresh crab and mussels at Elliott's Oysterbar.

Wander the waterfront!

The Seattle waterfront has something for everyone. On my first trip to Seattle I was on my own most of the time. I filled an entire two days with the waterfront. You can visit the Aquarium, eat at Ivar's, roam around Ye Olde Curiosity Shoppe, hop a Washington State Ferry for a cheap cruise to Bremerton or wherever you want to go, risk a ...
