The little shops that you find will amaze you. The atmosphere was just wonderful. Seattle is a great place to visit. I found so many wonderful souviners and gifts for my family and friends.
I lived in Seattle for almost 8 years before I, regretably moved away. My very favorite thing to do on the weekends was to go down to the waterfront, and watch the farries come and go, eat at Ivar's Acres of Clams, browse Ye' Old Curiosity Shop, and just whatch the sun set over the horizon. There is something special about walking Alaskan Way eating an ice cream cone with cars on a dilapidated viaduct above you, street musicians along side, the squawking of seagulls and the smell of salt air. Park your vehicle, grab some chowder at Ivar's and head to Ye Old Curiosity Shop... watch the ferries, breathe in some fresh air.
Experience the Seattle Waterfront, a little piece of Americana. Bring some spare change for the beggers or be prepared to be harassed.
