My husband and I had visited Seattle a few times already and took in the harbour cruise and the underground tour. Great value and educational about the city. Later we enjoyed the fresh crab and mussels at Elliott's Oysterbar.
The Seattle waterfront has something for everyone. On my first trip to Seattle I was on my own most of the time. I filled an entire two days with the waterfront. You can visit the Aquarium, eat at Ivar's, roam around Ye Olde Curiosity Shoppe, hop a Washington State Ferry for a cheap cruise to Bremerton or wherever you want to go, risk a ...

Fun to stroll along

Lots of interesting stores to go in along the way - the ole curiosity shop, Ivars, Seattle aquarium, etc. Great place to people watch too! At night, fun to watch the locals fishing for squid off the pier! Not sure of the season for this but was definitely interesting!

What an exciting place to take out of town guests. Amusements, shops, the Market, the Aquarium, more shops, good places to eat, great places to eat...... So much in such a small area.

The waterfront is absolutely gorgeous and a fun place to visit. There is good food, a great view of the city, and various shops to visit.
The waterfront is a place of so much variety it is hard to describe. The small shops are great for the kids to see things they never dreamed of. The aquarium is one of the best on the west coast, and its proximity to the space needle, pikes market and the Seattle zoo, makes it a perfect place to start an exploration of seattle the kids big, and small, will never forget. I go back every year and look foreward to it every time!
Beautiful scenery, nice atmostsphere, what more can you ask for? I visited in the fall but I would imagine the summer more interesing. I'll definetly be coming back.
Atmosphere,Food and Lots and lots to do and see! Definitly a full days adventure. Sunshine or raining outside you'll find a comfortable place to relax and enjoy.Whether you prefer indoors at the aquarium or a day of strolling, eating and shopping, you won,t be disapointed! Not to mention the view!WOW!
There is plenty to do. People watching, places to eat and shop, take the water taxi to Alki beach is quick and easy or the trolley to one end to the other along Alaskan Way. Also the Argosy cruise is fun for out of town guests. I will be looking forward to seeing the New and improved Aquarium. You don't have to be a an out-of-towner to enjoy this area.
