  • Worth the drive to Everett
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/17/04
I found this tour to be more interesting than the Museum of Flight. After a few short films about Boeing, the tour goes into the world's largest building where visitors can watch 747's, 767's and 777's being built. Our tour guide was very knowledgable, informative and personable. My only compaint: the tour only lasts an hour, and it goes by too fast!

My son was very impressed with the tour he is 11 and quite interested in these sort of things. I found it also very informative. Worth the 10.00 entrance fee also one place you don't have to pay to park. Take the next road down to the beach and spend the afternoon, nice little community. The air museum that comes with the seattle pass also good.

  • Great Tour
    By nursetwo2006, 03/21/08
The tour has really improved over the years and now you get to see three assembly lines. The sheer scale of the operation is amazing and the tour now starts at the Future of Flight Center where kids and adults can get some hands on. Well worth the price of admission. A must see in the Seattle area.

  • I would do it again
    By mjbw99, 10/18/05
I found the tour to be fascinating, maybe a little bit short lived, but well worth it.

You get to go inside and see planes in the assembly process, as well as follow through the final stages of painting and testing outside.

The building is HUGE! It really blew my mind. Some of the doors on the side of the building are taller than a football field measured end to end. Amazing.

  • Boeing tour doesn't get off ground
    By Boatman, 08/28/05
I was there in Aug. 2005. $10 each adult.
The "tour" is a short movie, without naration, and an escorted bus ride to the observation deck inside the hanger. Only final assembly takes place in Everett, so you won't learn anything about airplanes other than you need two wings, fuselage, and a tail section. The guides are knowledgable ...
